Mattress Springs
1.42mm wire springs 61mm diameter in individual sewn cotton calico pockets, hand formed into a honeycomb nested unit. Constructed with two layers of springs.

Mattress Border
23cm deep with three rows of genuine hand side-stitching. Horizontal handles - 8 on 150cm sizes. Air vents on all sides. Borders upholstered in protective lambswool. Finished with piped ticking.

Mattress Upholstery
Upholstered with 300 gsm* lambswool and then 2,135 gsm of hand-teased loose long-stranded horsehair, blended with long-stranded white hair. Covered in specially woven hair proof cotton ticking - Tick 555. Hand tufted with felt washers.
